The car & the ask
A '67 Fastback imported from Arizona: straight, dry body, tired everything else. The brief — keep the silhouette sacred, make it a car you can genuinely drive in Dubai. That means modern cooling, AC and brakes.
02The work
What we did
Strip and assessment: every panel, mount and rail photographed and catalogued before the build plan was priced.
Bare-metal respray in the original Acapulco Blue after minor rust repair at the cowl and quarters.
Gen-3 Coyote V8 with modern 6-speed, four-wheel discs, rack conversion — engineered to accept UAE traffic and heat.
Full retrim in period-correct materials; modern AC hidden behind the original dash face.
03The outcome
How it left
In final commissioning now. The build file already runs to 1,400 photos — the car will leave with all of them.
