The car & the ask
A week-old G63 in designo Platinum Magno — matte paint — with a concrete-pillar scrape across the rear door and quarter. Matte finishes forgive nothing and telegraph every shortcut.
02The work
What we did
Damage mapped with paint-depth readings; repair contained to two panels with no blending into adjacent metal.
Dent pulled and metal finished with minimal filler — depth-gauge honest.
Matte clear applied in a dust-controlled booth; sheen level matched against sprayed test cards under daylight and LED.
No polishing (matte forbids it): finish quality had to be right straight from the gun.

How it left
Sheen and texture indistinguishable from factory panels at any angle. Insurance handled start to finish.
