BMW M4 — heat-first Stage 2
Built for July, not just for the dyno graph.
01The brief
The car & the ask
An S58 M4 already running an off-the-shelf map that pulled timing every summer afternoon. The owner wanted real, repeatable pace — power that survives a UAE August, not a screenshot.
02The work
What we did
Pre-tune health check: compression, plugs, logs — and a heat audit that found intake temps 20° over sane.
Cooling first: upgraded heat exchanger and chargecooler system before a single map change.
Downpipes and intakes fitted, then calibrated in-house on UAE 98 fuel with logging across afternoon-heat pulls.
Before/after datalogs delivered with the car; stock parts boxed and returned.

03The outcome
How it left
Stronger everywhere, and identical pulls at 45°C ambient — the timing drift is gone. Documented, reversible, warrantied on our work.
